Andi Leppard (Andrew Leppard)

UK Based Psychedelic Trance DJ / Promoter. Originally from Portsmouth (UK) now based in London. Has been involved in the dance music scene for ten years and has progressed from attending events such as Escape From Samsara, Pendragon, Antiworld, Trancentral, Logic, Pickle to DJ-ing to promoting medium sized underground events in Portsmouth and Bristol UK. Andi always enjoyed parting at all night trance events so the evolution into DJ-ing and promoting was a natural one.

Andi started off by playing Techno Trance due to the influence of his time at events such as Samsara, Pendragon, Antiworld, Planet Zogg and the sounds played by the likes of Beamish, Oberon, Mark Sinclair, E-303, Fabry & Greg Zogg to name but a few.

In 2001 Andi and a group of fellow party goers started their own night JARRED in Portsmouth playing Tehcno Trance and by 2005 Psychedelic Trance also. JARRED was run from 2001 – 2005 with a string of successful events in Portsmouth and Bristol. Acts featured at JARRED over the years: K90, Orpheus 2, SBL, Beamish, Oberon, Darren Shambhala, Proteus, Opal, E-303, Kristian, Simo, DJ POD, Sean Rudz, Greg & Dil Zogg, Vortechtral, Matt Handy!!

We stopped promoting at the end of 2005 as it was time for a break as the music scene was changing and more importantly it was time to head out of the UK for a years travelling.

Since returning to the UK in 2007 Andi has based himself in London and has started to make a further name for himself on the London & UK Psychedelic Trance Scene playing both Progressive and Full-On Psychedelic Trance alongside acts such as Infected Mushroom, Astrix, Psycraft, Dejavoo, Eskimo, Sutekh, Compressor, Gaba, Dejavoo, M-Klome, BeatNik, Metaphase, Kristian, Zeus, Jay-Om, Journey to name but a few!

Andi also feel fortunate that he has joined the Antiworld family with sets at many of the collective’s recent events!!

For the future Andi is looking to keep working with Antiworld and secure further sets UK & worldwide with a focus on free / squat parties and UK / European festivals!

Andi is also looking to start the journey towards producing Psychedelic Electronica, and is just waiting to find the right avenue to embark on this project.
