Frolic started as a few guys who realised that while the club scene catered for virtually every musical taste imaginable, what you saw at each event was effectively the same, a lighting show and some decor. They felt that the visual experience in a club was some thing that could be as entertaining as listening to a Dj's or live acts. What started with two digital projectors and a bit of imagination has grown into a company that is capable of producing visual installations for clubs, festivals and a variety of other live events. They use original material for their shows and as they are always looking for new and innovative ways of presenting it, Frolic productions is now known for their unique custom made screens as well as the brightness of there projectors. From black plexiglass and hemispherical screens to the giant flowers and huge globe eyes they have created special visuals solution for individual events. They are currently working on a talking 3 Dimensional face with astonishing results and they are preparing something that will get the attention of everyone. During the last few years they have collaborated with an increasing number of artists and they reached a point where the production of a DVD was the obvious way forward. Thus they could increase their audience by allowing people to take the Frolic visual experience into their own homes. Other projects in the pipeline include more DVD's with different styles of music and an audio visual set that includes their own music production. They will be launching a record label in due course and continue to be involved in a number of regular club nights. Their imagination has carried them a long way from the first nights of a few images projected onto sheets on a club wall and they will continue to evolve and search for ways to use new technology to add to their shows.
